What if your world was never yours?
The Splice Creatures is a hand-crafted action-adventure with platforming, crafting, and metroidvania elements, wrapped in dark humor and philosophical themes.
In a distant future, a biotech corporation called Future Genetic Amusement (FGA) creates custom-made living worlds for wealthy clients. These worlds are populated with genetically engineered creatures—watched through hidden cameras and consumed as entertainment.
You begin as one such creature: a bear-like mutant, created through a glitchy, under-resourced process. At first, the world feels like a fairy tale—trees, honey, and forest friends. But everything changes when warthog-like invaders arrive and steal your honey.
Fueled by rage and confusion, you set out on a journey of revenge, truth, and transformation. As you battle enemies, free captives, and encounter strange allies (like a shady piglet salesman and a baby dragon), you begin to see behind the curtain: the cameras, the fake sky, the staged suffering.
Your actions shape the outcome—but will you choose anger, or awareness?
The line between player, character, and viewer starts to blur.
