A Story of Mystery
Ever since he was a kid, Thomas Cassian has always had strange dreams, as he grew older he came to realize that those dreams were not just in his mind, but seemed to be physically tangible. He joined the University of Westervale in an attempt to learn more from the controversial Magister Sigmund and his knowledge of a dream realm called the Pale.
But, when Sigmund and his daughter; Heather, are both mysteriously murdered, Cassian began to see Heather in his dreams, with an unspoken sense that Heather was trying to tell him who murdered her, with no one else to help him, Cassian seeks help from the infamous Witch, Keziah Mason, to learn how to access the realm of mind and dreams to find Heather once more.
A Prequel to The Scarlet Chaos
PALE ANIMUS takes place 151 years prior to The Scarlet Chaos, it reveals the origins of the infamous Pate Yarlthon, First Lord of the Scarlet Order.
Gameplay
Sneak or Flee from the monsters within the Pale, or fight them directly, the choice is yours.
Use the art of Alchemy to mix different ingredients into new items to grow your strength and aid you in battle.
Summon Wandering Spirits within the Pale to assist you in battle or go it alone.
