This action strategy experience on PC centers on his role as a reliable leader focused on growth and defense. His unique faction mechanic revolves around Displaced Population, a resource gained whenever any faction conquers a settlement on the campaign map. Tao Qian grants these refugees sanctuary, and they boost his economy by speeding up mustering times and construction. Players who enjoy tall-building strategies and resource-driven defense will find a focused campaign loop here.

Tao Qian has long been a steward of the Han and his own territory. He is renowned as a dependable and respectable governor, and one who focuses on building tall. He wants to make life better for the people he governs, and defends his lands against those would dare to encroach upon it.
Unique Faction Mechanic: Displaced Population


Tao Qian offers refuge to those fleeing from war. This is measured by a unique resource called Displaced population. Whenever a settlement on the campaign map is conquered by any faction, Displaced population is generated. Tao Qian offers them sanctuary, and they in turn contribute to his economy, helping to improve various activities such as mustering time and construction. Displaced population naturally decreases over time.
