In Beast & Bloom, build a team of charming creatures and turn a limited battlefield into a carefully planned defense. Make enemies take another turn, catch more targets in an area attack, and combine slowing effects with damage over time. One small adjustment could be what gets you through the next wave.

Study the entrances, exits, and terrain, then position guardians and stones to shape the routes ground enemies follow.
A winding path gives your team more time to attack, but placement matters just as much. Balance range, concentrated firepower, and route design to find a layout that works for each map. Flying enemies bring another challenge—make sure your defenses can reach them.

Fuse Three Guardians into Something Greater
Gather the three guardians required by a recipe and fuse them into an advanced guardian with a distinctive look and unique abilities.
Fusion changes your firepower and frees up valuable space. Consider your ingredients’ positions and your defenses’ needs, then choose the right moment to bring a powerful new ally into battle.

Slow enemies to buy more time. Wear them down with poison. Break through armor so your team can hit harder, then use area damage to clear crowded paths.
Fast attackers, armored foes, swarms, and flying enemies all call for different responses. Experiment with guardian combinations as stronger waves and elite formations put your defenses to the test.
Magical Items. New Possibilities.
An obstacle could become your next teammate. A ground-only guardian could become the answer to an aerial threat. Use your items at the right moment to create an opening.
Awakening Charm: Transform a fixed obstacle into a random basic guardian. Reshape the battlefield—and perhaps find the missing ingredient for your next fusion.
Skyward Feather: Give an advanced, ground-only guardian the ability to attack flying enemies for the rest of the run.
Swap Charm: Swap a guardian with another guardian or a stone, even during combat. Move crucial firepower where it’s needed.
Frostwind Hourglass: Freeze enemies currently on the battlefield and boost all guardians’ attack speed by 30%. Both effects last 12 seconds.
Clearing Charm: Clear every enemy currently on the battlefield, including flying enemies and elites. More enemies will still arrive, so use the breathing room wisely!
