Every unit has passives that depend on where you place it: boost the attack of adjacent allies, shine alone in a corner, weaken nearby enemies, and many more. As the fight unfolds, columns build up stacks of burn, freeze, and shield — push a stack high enough and it erupts in a powerful burst that can flip the whole battle.Stacking strong units isn't enough. Who stands next to whom, and which column they hold, decides the fight.
One Run, Fifteen Battles
A roguelite run is fifteen battles, with a boss waiting at 5, 10, and 15. Lose a battle and you spend a life to take on that same battle again; run out of lives and the run ends.
