Micro Generals is a 2D side-scrolling real-time strategy game about one long front line. Six factions fight over it: buy troops, tanks and aircraft, take the ground and the supply points along it, and push the front all the way to the enemy HQ before they push it to yours.
CHOOSE YOUR SIDE
Six factions are locked in an endless war: the Atlantic Alliance, the Comintern Collective, the Southern Freedom Fighters, the Petrol Powers Pact, the GFH Paramilitary Group and the Agentic Remnants. Each one has its own general, its own units and abilities, and a superweapon no one else has. These range from a nuclear silo to airborne assaults, ambushes sprung from the treeline, demolition trucks, armoured convoys and a giant siege walker.
FIGHT FOR EVERY METRE
Battles play out along a single scrolling front, and ground is everything. Capture points of interest to resupply and patch up your troops. Dig in with walls, anti-air guns and radar. Bridge rivers, cross frozen lakes, lay minefields, and put up a forward operating base so reinforcements arrive where the fighting is. Plant your artillery line, send observers forward to spot for it, and call in bombers, helicopters and paratroopers to break a front that won't move.
EVERY UNIT HAS AN ANSWER
Riflemen, rocket soldiers, tanks, artillery, mobile AA, drones and more each have clear strengths and weaknesses. Tanks shrug off rifle fire but fear rocket teams. Artillery hits hardest of all but is blind without someone to spot for it. Aircraft rule the sky until the anti-air arrives. Read the field, counter what your enemy sends, and keep your supply lines alive.
GROW YOUR ARMY
Every victory earns XP to spend in your faction's upgrade tree: new units and their upgraded levels, new abilities, and stronger superweapons. Your enemies don't stand still either. The factions you face get stronger as your campaign goes on.
