Spend banked gold across 30 forge upgrades and shape your build through 45 talent nodes in the Ember, Iron, and Gale paths. Improve damage, defense, movement, and magic as you progress through 40 character levels. Weapon and armor upgrades change the Ember Knight's appearance independently, with short evolution reveals when new finishes unlock.Earn and purchase higher basecamps in measured steps. Each advance requires another successful survey, so a stronger launch point is something you work toward across repeated expeditions.

Fight 30 enemy types, ten guardian bosses, and a roster of minibosses with distinct attacks and warnings. Practice guardian encounters in Boss Trials, or test a new build on the full climb.
