THE GREAT WAR — A LIVING WORLD WAR
TD End of War is not a tower defense that ends when you close the game. In the background, a permanent, community-driven meta game is running:
6 continental fronts: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Oceania. Choose your front and fight for its liberation.
Every rated match counts: Your score flows into the front line of your chosen continent as "liberated territory" – while the machines counter every battle with invasion pressure.
A real, living globe: On a rotatable, photorealistic model of Earth you can see in real time how far each continent is currently liberated or occupied, compiled from the matches of ALL players worldwide.
The state of the world feeds back into every match: If humanity holds a front, EVERY player worldwide receives a noticeable bonus – more tower damage, more range, more energy, cheaper towers, more starting gold or faster research, depending on the continent. If the machines push a front back, things get harder globally: tougher enemies, less income, slower research. Even in the worst case there is a "Last Stand" – you are never left with nothing.
Find operations worldwide: The built-in lobby browser shows open co-op matches around the globe – front, player count and version at a glance. Simply join, or open your own operation, optionally with a password
No other tower defense lets your single match actually shift the course of war for an entire community – and lets that course of war feed back noticeably into your next game.
YOUR ARSENAL
11 tower systems: Gatling, Autocannon, Laser Cannon, Tesla Coil, Plasma Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Laser, Twin Laser, Plasma Laser, Gauss Cannon and the heavy Plasma Artillery. Each with its own behavior (single target, area damage, chain lightning, sustained beam, cone, guided missile).
Modular configurator: Freely combine 11 weapon and 4 support modules (EMP, Radar, Boost and more). Retrofit support modules even on towers you have already built.
Upgrades up to level 6: Every tower can be upgraded deeply – more damage, more range, noticeably more firepower in the late waves.
Radial targeting menu: Right-click your tower to open a circular menu with up to 10 target priorities – from "First"/"Strongest" to "Armored"/"Healers"/"Bosses", unlocked step by step through the research tree.
Challenging enemy variety: Shields, armor, healers, splitters, regeneration and speed traits stack into ever-new threat combinations, all the way up to mighty act bosses every 10 waves.
DEFEND TOGETHER
Solo or two-player online co-op: each player defends their own zone, leaks from both zones hit the shared reactor.
Separate wallets, shared goal: Each player manages their own gold, but can transfer gold to their partner.
Shared research: A huge tech tree (Projectile, Laser, Tesla, Plasma, Economy, Support, Lab) – one player researches, both benefit.
A second resource system: An energy/power grid alongside gold – your reactor and power plants feed your energy weapons; too much consumption without reserves ends in a blackout.
PROCEDURAL BATTLEFIELDS
Seed-based map generation: Every map is generated deterministically from its seed – same seed, same map, even in co-op.
Multi-lane zones: Two zones with crossing paths lead to your shared base.
Share seeds: Like a run from the leaderboard? Take its seed and play exactly the same map.
ENDLESS WAR
Act structure: 10 waves per act, a mighty act boss at wave 10.
Threat draft: After every act boss you choose from illustrated threat cards – risk in exchange for permanent passive income.
No end in sight: The escalation continues endlessly until your reactor falls.
Random AI events: Hacks, artillery strikes and dropship raids by the enemy AI keep every match unpredictable.
LEADERBOARDS & PROGRESSION
Steam leaderboards: Global and friends rankings for solo and co-op, including a notification when a friend beats your high score.
Persistent player profile: Kills, towers built, bosses defeated and more are tracked across all your matches.
