●Game Description

This is a 2D action game where you escape from the Nightmare World.

Collect the emblems, which are the key to escape, and advance deeper.

However, collecting emblems won't be easy.

A red demon pursues you, trying to devour the girl. Furthermore, troublesome monsters and traps lurk around.

Players control the girl, evading the Red Demon while avoiding monsters and traps. Collect emblems and escape the Nightmare World.

●Controls

↑ = Move Up, ← = Move Left, ↓ = Move Down, → = Move Right

Shift = Inspect, Hit with Frying Pan, Confirm

0 = Menu / Cancel

●4 Difficulty Levels

This game offers 4 difficulty levels:

・Easy (HP3, Red Oni and monsters move slowly)

Recommended for those who find action games challenging.

・Normal (HP3, Red Oni and monsters move at normal speed)

Recommended for first-time players.

・Hard (HP2, numerous obstacle gimmicks placed)

HP is reduced compared to Normal, leaving no room for error. Furthermore, numerous obstacle gimmicks are placed, demanding more advanced control skills.

・Nightmare (HP1, numerous obstacle gimmicks, darkness, map hidden, obstacle crystals placed)

The highest difficulty in this game. HP is reduced to 1, leaving no margin for error. Enjoy heightened tension amidst numerous obstacle gimmicks. Furthermore, the surroundings are plunged into darkness, making it difficult to grasp the entire stage. Additionally, the map and emblem locations are hidden, forcing players to memorize their own position and the locations of emblems they've collected. To make matters worse, hindrance crystals (animal-shaped) are added to the paths needed to collect emblems, forcing players to backtrack and tormenting them. Players will likely find themselves lost and confused, unsure where to go. Can you overcome this trial?

● For Those Struggling to Clear

You can change the difficulty level at any time by examining the “Light Blue Crystal” found early in each stage. If you feel this difficulty isn't right for you, feel free to adjust it anytime.

● Field Elements

・Warning Mark

Warns you of the direction the Red Oni is approaching from. Use this as a guide and flee in the opposite direction!

・Red Oni

Red Oni chasing the girl. If caught, you'll be eaten, so run away if you see one!

・Emblem

The emblems are the keys to escaping the Nightmare World. They bear the crests of the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Snake, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Bird, Dog, and Boar.

・Obstruction Crystals (Number-Based)

Crystals blocking the girl's path. You cannot pass through unless you have the specified number of emblems. You need emblems to get past these.

・Transparency Potion

Taking this makes the girl invisible, causing the Red Oni and monsters to lose track of her. Time-limited.

・Speed Potion

Taking this makes the girl run faster, making escape easier. Time-limited.

・Jump Pad

Allows a large jump in the direction you jump. Use it wisely to escape the Red Oni!

・Bear Trap (Difficult, Nightmare)

Stepping on it traps your feet, temporarily immobilizing you. If you step on one while being chased by the Red Demon, it will catch up to you. Try to avoid them.

・Obstruction Crystal (Animal Edition) (Nightmare)

You cannot pass through unless you have the specified number of animal emblems. They are placed in the pathways where you try to collect emblems and are extremely troublesome.
