With neither heart nor hand left to tend it, many promising young witches have been turned away, and the manor has slipped into quiet disarray. The chandeliers struggle to hold back the shadows, furniture is coated in thick dust, and where magick once flourished, a darkness occupies its place. You were summoned here as the new butler, a title that feels more like a curse than an honor.
The witches you serve are beautiful, strange, and untouched by the decay that grips the manor. One welcomes you with warmth, the others see you as an intruder. Beneath the surface of it all lies a tangled web of power, pride, and rivalry.
To endure here you must tend to your duties, earn the trust (or affection) of the residents, and uncover the truth behind the darkness that stalks the manor's halls. As the days pass you'll decide how to spend your time: serve tea in the library, explore forbidden wings, study lost grimoires, chase shadows through the candlelit hallways or steal a quiet moment with one of the witches.
Every sunset the shadows grow stronger and the balance of magick fades.
The Residents
The Madam - The enigmatic headmistress recruits raw young potential, turning them into masters of their craft or breaking their spirit in the process. Behind her elegance and poise hides an unbridled edge and secrets only a dead man could keep.Â
The Necromancer - Awkward, callous, and endlessly curious about what lies beyond the veil. To her, death is merely an inconvenience but also the answer to all her questions. However, knowledge of the dead is meaningless once you cross over, so she's long since abandoned her morals in pursuit of the truth.
The Demonologist - Reserved, precise and tempered by noble lineage, she holds herself to impossible standards, accepting nothing less than perfection. To command the demons of hell, one must be unwavering in their emotional constitution and possess an utterly unbreakable will, qualities which she has in abundance.
The Enchantress – Approachable, warm, yet subtly distant. Gifted with divine power, she has become a near limitless vessel of magick, a coveted font for those who seek to use it for their own ends. Dispite her gentle nature, she holds herself at a respectful distance, and closely guards her true feelings.
