Arcana Rift: Tactics is a turn-based strategy game that transforms the suits and figures of Tarot into pieces on a tactical battlefield. Build your force, manoeuvre across the grid and break through your opponent's defences to destroy their Tower.
Four Suits. Four Battlefield Roles.
Every piece has a defined battlefield role, making positioning, movement and choosing the right target just as important as raw strength.
Swords are close-range fighters.
Wands attack from range.
Cups heal and support nearby allies.
Pentacles protect nearby pieces.
More powerful Court pieces expand these roles, giving you stronger and more mobile units to build your strategy around.
Build Your Army During the Battle
Your army is not fixed when the battle begins. Earn and manage resources as you fight, recruit reinforcements and decide where your resources will have the greatest impact.
Craft equipment to improve your forces and adapt your strategy as the battlefield changes.
Summon the Major Arcana
Bring powerful Major Arcana onto the battlefield, each with unique effects capable of changing the course of a battle.
Using them requires investment, forcing you to choose between strengthening your existing army, recruiting new pieces or saving resources for a more powerful summon.
Win Through Positioning, Not Luck
Movement, attack range, formations and support positioning all matter.
Protect valuable units. Isolate vulnerable enemies. Use each suit's strengths together and look for opportunities to break through the opposing formation.
Battle Offline or Online
Play against the computer in offline battles or challenge another player in online PvP. With a many possible formations, purchases, summons and tactical decisions, each battle is about fine-tuning your strategy and forging a path to victory.
