Slide, don't grip
DRIFTIT is a top-down drift game: one car, a camera straight overhead and a handbrake. Flick the handbrake into a corner, catch the slide with counter-steer and feed the throttle to hold the angle. The car is built to go sideways.
Three laps against the clock
Every track is a short three-lap time attack with a target time to beat. Touch a wall and the run starts over from the grid, so every lap has to be clean. Your personal best rides along as a ghost car, with a split at every checkpoint that shows exactly where the time went.
Chain it for points
Points come from speed and angle. Hold a drift and the multiplier climbs by ×0.5 every 1.5 seconds, all the way to ×10. Straighten up and the drift banks.
Features
- 20 hand-built tracks, from the Oval to the Final, plus a free-roam airfield with cones, a donut ring and no clock
- Five low-poly worlds, each with its own light and weather: a sunny meadow circuit, a red-rock desert, an autumn valley at golden hour, a snowy mountain pass and a neon harbour at night
- A Steam leaderboard for every track, Everyone or Friends. Every time is uploaded with its replay, and the game re-drives the replays of the times it shows, so a time that doesn't add up stays off your board
- Ghosts of your personal bests, with checkpoint splits against them
- Keyboard or gamepad, menus included: Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo button prompts, adjustable steering, dead zones and vibration; top-down or chase camera; eight paint colours
- Five languages: English, Polish, Spanish, Ukrainian and Simplified Chinese
- Steam Cloud keeps your progress, bests, ghosts and settings on every computer
- A result card after every run, straight into your Steam screenshots
